Our take
I needed a larger portable monitor for work and light gaming, and the UPERFECT UMax 22 fits the bill. The 22-inch screen is a nice step up from the typical 15-19 inch models. The 2K resolution is crisp, and colors are accurate out of the box. The 60Hz refresh is fine for productivity, but for gaming, it's not ideal—I'd prefer at least 120Hz. Brightness is average at 300 nits, so it's best used indoors. Build quality is decent, and the aluminum alloy body feels sturdy. The USB-C connection works flawlessly with my laptop. Overall, a solid work monitor.
